This Privacy Policy explains how Blue Bolt Electric(“we,” “us”) collects, uses, and protects information when you visit blueboltelectric.com(the “Site”) or submit a quote request. We keep this simple on purpose — we're a small, local electrical and lighting business, not an ad company, and we treat your information accordingly.

We only collect information you choose to give us. When you fill out the quote request form, that includes:

• Your property address
• The service you're interested in and a description of your project
• Your preferred contact method (call, text, or email)
• An optional photo of the area or issue, if you choose to attach one

We use Google Analytics to understand how visitors use this Site — for example, which pages get visited and how people found us. Google Analytics uses cookies and collects information like your approximate location (based on IP address), device and browser type, and the pages you visit on this Site. We also track when a “Call” link or the quote request form is used, so we can see which parts of the Site are actually driving inquiries.

When you submit the quote form, your information is sent as an email notification to Spencer McGuirevia Resend, our email delivery provider, and is also logged to a private internal spreadsheet via Google's API so we can keep track of requests. Both of these are tools we use to run our own business — neither company uses your information for their own purposes, and we don't share your information with any other third party.

This Site is hosted on Vercel, which processes standard web traffic (like your IP address and browser type) as part of normal hosting operations, the same as any website you visit.

We keep quote request records for as long as reasonably necessary for our business and legal purposes — for example, to reference past project details or maintain records of work performed. If you'd like us to delete your information, contact us and we'll take care of it.

You can ask us to access, correct, or delete the information we have about you at any time by reaching out using the contact info below. If you're a California resident, you may have additional rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) — contact us and we'll be glad to help.

This Site is intended for adults seeking electrical and lighting services and is not directed at children. We don't knowingly collect information from anyone under 13.
